Layout >> First Vacation

This is my first 2 page layout.  I was inspired to do this page by the challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges.

I used a technique that I saw on Nicole Nowosad's YouTube channel on how to make a chevron background using patterned paper (or in this case textured cardstock).

I also am quite pleased at how well a winter color scheme turned into a beach themed layout!!
